We recently visited the Adoni Bypass to review the progress of this crucial project. Stretching over 7.3 km, this bypass will divert highway traffic away from Adoni town, easing congestion and improving road safety. The project is being built with a total budget of ₹242 crores, with ₹98 crores for road construction and around ₹125.5 crores for land acquisition.
Despite legal issues and opposition during earlier phases, we stayed committed to the people’s demand and our election promise. So far, 70% of the work is complete, including 5.2 km of road. The remaining 2 km is expected to be finished in the next 3–6 months.
We’ve acquired 79.4 acres of land, including 54.8 acres from private owners, spending ₹127 crores. Thanks to the support from the central government and the contractor Mr. Chandrasekhar, work is moving swiftly.
We aim to inaugurate the bypass during Sankranti or Ugadi as a festive gift to the people of Adoni. This is not just a road – it’s a major step toward better connectivity and development for the region.
Stay tuned and thank you for your continued support!
