For the first time ever in Adoni, the Jagannath Rath Yatra was celebrated with grand devotion and festive spirit. Inspired by the world-famous Puri Rath Yatra, a beautiful new chariot was brought, and the entire town came alive with joy, music, dance, and divine celebrations.
Thousands of devotees—men, women, and children—joined the procession, dancing and praying for the well-being of every home in Adoni and across Andhra Pradesh. This event marks a historic spiritual beginning for our town.
It’s a matter of great pride that this Yatra began during my tenure. I consider it a blessing and a fortune from Lord Jagannath himself. The joy of seeing the people united in devotion is beyond words.
Next year, we promise an even grander celebration. May Lord Jagannath bless everyone with peace, health, and prosperity.
