One of the most critical issues in the western mandals is the lack of proper toilet facilities. In every village, this has become a major concern, especially affecting the dignity of women.
For example, in Adoni constituency, 467 toilets were sanctioned, but only 122 have been completed so far. More than 300 have not even been started yet due to various reasons.
This issue is not limited to Adoni. Constituencies like Mantralayam, Emmiganur, and Pattikonda are facing the same situation. Wherever we go, people are demanding toilets.
The government must treat this issue as a top priority. If building toilets for every home isn’t possible, at least build community toilets. This is not just about development — it’s about protecting women’s dignity.
