The recent abusive and objectionable comments made by Tadipatri Municipal Chairman JC Prabhakar Reddy against Anantapur District DPO Nagaraju Naidu are deeply condemnable. This isn’t just a personal attack—it should be viewed as a disrespectful act towards officers belonging to the BC, SC, and ST communities.
While I hold full respect for the public service done by JC Prabhakar Reddy, using foul language and publicly insulting an officer from the BC community is completely unacceptable.
As elected leaders from the BC community, we were given MLA seats by the people to fight for the rights and problems of BC, SC, and ST communities. That includes standing up for issues faced by Boya, Kurava, and other marginalized sections. It is our responsibility to protect officials from these communities when they are targeted unfairly.
If any officer fails in their duty, there are proper legal systems and processes to take action. But publicly abusing them with vulgar language on a public platform is unethical and highly inappropriate.
