MLA Dr Parthasarathi has issued a strong statement regarding the illegal occupation of public land in Sai Nagar, which was specifically allocated for an Urban Health Center. He made it clear that this encroachment will not stand.
The Current Situation
The public land, intended for a vital community facility, was recently seized. However, thanks to the extreme vigilance of the local residents, the encroachment was successfully halted. Dr Parthasarathi personally praised the community for their alertness.
Action Plan
To formally secure the land and prevent any future attempts at seizure, the MLA has promised swift action:
- He will lead an inspection with other administrators next week on Tuesday or Wednesday to officially visit and secure the site.
- Fences and boards will be immediately erected on the Urban Health Center plot, as well as on other public purpose lands (including a 5-acre government plot with 10 sites).
- Dr Parthasarathi assured the residents that their safety and the security of the land are his responsibility.
A Call for Vigilance
MLA Dr Parthasarathi strongly advised residents to remain highly vigilant. He issued a powerful warning to any potential encroachers:
“The land allocated for you is meant for your community benefit. If anyone tries to trespass, chase them away, beat them, and drive them out of the village!“
This strong stance ensures that the community will soon have its designated Urban Health Center, saving residents from the trouble of crossing the railway gate to reach the town’s medical facilities.
