In a rare and bold address, Adoni MLA Shri Parthasaradhi voiced the long-standing struggles of the people in his constituency. Despite being in power, he declared his readiness to lead a public movement and even go on an indefinite hunger strike in Adoni, demanding justice for his people.
His demands are clear:
- Adoni should be declared a district
- Pedda Harivanam must be made a mandal
- Three additional mandals should be created
He exposed the harsh realities faced by Adoni’s people — lack of drinking water, no proper hospitals, administrative neglect, and mass migration due to poor development.
He questioned why, even after 75 years, Adoni remains ignored while other regions continue to grow.
“If leaders can’t fight for the people, what is the purpose of being in power?”
