Today, we are deeply saddened by the passing of Govindarajulu Garu, a strong Dalit leader from Adoni. He was a powerful warrior in the MRPS movement, fighting for Madiga reservations, and served the people as a dedicated councillor from the YSRCP party.
He was always at the forefront of public and Dalit issues, dedicating his life to the cause of social justice. Though he belonged to a political party, he always stood with the people, earning great respect and love from everyone.
His untimely death is a huge loss not only to Adoni but also to the Dalit movements in the Kurnool Parliament area. Today, leaders and people from different parties like MRPS, BJP, Janasena, TDP, and others have come together to pay their respects to him.
It is heartening to see so many people gather to bid him a final farewell. Having such a beloved leader from Adoni is a matter of pride for all of us.
He spent his whole life fighting for the rights of Dalits and achieving justice. Though we lost him too soon, his contributions will never be forgotten.
