When roads are built — whether for common people or for officials — the whole region prospers. The Adoni to Kurnool road is one of the busiest routes in Kurnool district, serving nearly two million people who travel daily to reach the district headquarters.
But have you ever wondered why it still takes three to four hours to travel just 110–130 kilometers? Poor road conditions, lack of proper dividers, and heavy traffic make the journey long, uncomfortable, and unsafe.
Imagine if we had a four-lane or six-lane road with proper dividers — travel time would drop to just one hour, and development would accelerate across the region.
Even top leaders and ministers hesitate to travel by this route due to its poor condition. During election campaigns, when India’s Defence Minister was invited, his team found it impossible to drive safely from Kurnool — it took nearly four hours! Eventually, he had to be brought in by helicopter. But ordinary people don’t have that option. We rely on the roads.
That’s why Adoni must become a district.
Making Adoni a district would bring a Collector, SP, and around 100 government offices to the region. That means new infrastructure, employment for hundreds, and — most importantly — better roads. Even if roads are built for the officials, the common people will benefit the most.
For Adoni’s people, district status is the solution to every problem — a Sarva Roga Nivārani (a cure for all).
