The sacred Renuka Ellamma Jathara, held in the hill shrine near Adoni, concluded with grand fervor on the fourth and final Tuesday. Devotees from across Adoni, neighboring regions, and even other states gathered in large numbers to seek the blessings of Goddess Ellamma.
For four Tuesdays, special pujas, alankaras (decorations), and prasadam offerings were conducted with utmost devotion. The divine atmosphere, colorful rituals, and mass participation turned the occasion into a deeply spiritual experience.
I had the divine opportunity to join the devotees today, receiving darshan and blessings alongside elders and well-wishers. With folded hands, I prayed for the prosperity of Adoni, timely rains, abundant crops, and happiness in every household. May Goddess Ellamma’s blessings guide and protect us all.
