In Adoni, over 31,000 women have formed self-help groups under the Urban Poverty Eradication Program. These women are working hard to become financially independent by starting small businesses and managing group savings.
To support them, the government has distributed brand new, high-quality tablets to 86 group leaders (known as Area Resource Persons – ARPs). These tablets will help them upload and manage important group data more efficiently.
Last year, these women collectively managed ₹86 crores in bank-linked loans—a huge achievement, like running a mini bank!
This year, the new target is ₹50 crores, and with continued support, Adoni’s women are on the path to even greater success.
💪 Salute to the hardworking women and ARPs of Adoni!
